Anti-Spam Policy

RISEUP AT WORK LLC ("RISEUP@work") does not send, and does not permit anyone to send, unsolicited commercial or bulk email. This policy covers riseupatwork.com, riseup.team and every subdomain of either, and every other web address we use to run our platform and services.

1. What we send, and to whom

We send email only to people who have created a RISEUP@work account, who have asked to hear from us, or who have otherwise given us their consent. Messages are of two kinds: service messages (for example account, sign-in, billing and security notices) and messages a member has chosen to receive (for example coaching nudges, newsletters and product updates). We do not buy, rent or scrape email lists, and we do not send to addresses we have not collected directly with the owner's consent.

2. What we prohibit

Nobody may use, or advertise, any RISEUP@work web address in unsolicited bulk or commercial email, text message, comment, forum post or any other unsolicited communication. This applies equally to our staff, contractors, vendors, affiliates, resellers, partners and any other third party acting for us or in our name. Anyone who breaches this policy will have their access and any agreement with us ended, and we will take further action where the law allows.

3. Honouring choices

Every marketing and member-preference email carries a working one-click unsubscribe link and the standard List-Unsubscribe headers. We act on unsubscribe requests promptly and keep a record so we do not email that address again. Members can also switch off email notifications in their account settings.

4. Our own systems

Test and staging environments, including riseup.team, are internal. They are not advertised, are not open to the public, and send mail only to our own team members. Our mail is authenticated with SPF, DKIM and DMARC.

5. Reporting abuse

If you receive a message that mentions one of our web addresses and you believe it is unsolicited, or you think someone is misusing our name, please write to spam-abuse@riseupatwork.com. Include the full message with headers. We will investigate and reply, and we will stop the sender if we find that our policy was broken.
